TASTEFUL EXPERIENCE
Abi’z is the brainchild and baby of Sheldon and Shona, a hubby and wife team who have followed their hearts and landed up with a coffee shop/ bakery/ wine bar/ restaurant. We live by a few phrases and life goals; life is too short to drink bad coffee, the youth of today probably never smelt freshly baked bread (the loaves that our parents used to buy), good wine needs to be enjoyed by everyone!
Abi’z is all about family-owned, small businesses and shopping local. Everything is made with a little extra love, with a story behind each picture on the wall and a space that you can feel at home.

Our coffee is sourced from a local artisan roaster, with a flair for different flavours, smells and a whole new world of experience!

Boutique wine should be accessible and enjoyed by everyone, and we have that right here, on your doorstep. Wine we have sourced from local South African, lesser-known wine farms, and brought to Joburg.
Red, white, pink and bubbles in copious amounts is never a bad idea!

If you are looking for somewhere to meet; for work, to catch up with an old friend for a coffee, enjoy sundowners after a day at work, or just cosy up by yourself with a book on our couches, we have a ton of cosy corners for you to make yourself feel at home.

THE BEST TABLE IN TOWN
Book yourself a private workspace and to get away from your four walls and a change of scenery. Available for private use; meetings, calls, team meetings, strat sessions, etc…
‘The Pod’ comfortably seats 4 people, and has a power point, WiFi, aircon and a chance to order food and drinks off our menu. Service with a smile is always available!
The Pod Booking Rates:
- 1 hr: R200: includes: 1 coffee/ cold drink.
- Half day: R600: includes 2 coffees/ cold drinks and 1 meal up to the value of R100.
- Full Day: R1000: includes 3 coffees/ cold drinks and 2 meals up to the value of R100 each.
Includes: WiFi, backup generator, aircon, pen and notepad.
Rates are payable on the day of your booking.
Late arrivals: The pod will be held for 15 mins from your booked time, thereafter, your booking will be released. You will still be liable for the rate of the time booked.
